Many congratulations to Martley Cricket Club stalwart Steve Hayes, who in his first year of umpiring has received a highly commended award from the Worcestershire County League.
Stave, along with club president Bradders and Worcestershire opener Jake Libby took the umpires course last winter.
Steve began umpiring in the league this summer and ended up officiating games in the top two divisions.
Anyone else fancy it? It’s a one-day course to start with, in Worcester on December 8th.
