Martley Cricket Club members are so sad to hear of the death of our former player Scott Morris.
A fine all round sportsman, playing football, rugby, cricket are whatever he would give everything, and always had a cheeky smile on his face.
He is pictured here in his Martley C C cap which he was given at a special match for him last year.

No amount of time was ever going to prepare us for this moment. In the late hours of Monday 16th December, Scott lost his battle with MND. Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to describe what we’re feeling at the moment. He fought against this cruel illness with bravery and dignity, and I am proud to have been able to call this wonderful man my husband. He was strong and kind and he is missed more than words can describe. Thank you to everyone that has supported him and given him the strength he needed to fight as hard as he did. Scott, no amount of years with you were ever going to be enough. I will love you and miss you forever
