Mixed fortunes for our Juniors at the start of the week, with a crushing win and a heavy defeat.
The Unde-10’s took on Barnards Green at the Jewry Field and Harry Howes with 33 and Jack Edwards with 34 saw Martley rack up 353 off 16 overs (200 start).
The Green never really got going against some accurate Martley bowling with Benji Leshallas returning the best figures of 2 for 2m off 3 overs.
The Under 12’s took on their Bromsgrove counterparts and despite 21 not out from Harry Lane they could only muster 69 all out.
Ed Neath took an early wicket for Martley but Daniel Duffy with 30 and 21 from Roshan Kotekar gave Bromsgrove a comfortable win.
