The Martley Mandarins have pulled off an amazing league title, winning the Worcestershire Women’s Softball League Premier Divsision in their very first season in the top flight.
Not only that, but they went through the season unbeaten, ten wins out of ten including the final game of the season at Pedmore.
The home side batted first but Ruby Court was in great form with the ball taking 3 wickets for 5 runs, and with Louise Mylles picking up a wicket Pedmore were struggling at 19 for 3.
They recovered to total 91 for 5, Carly Bradshaw top scoring with 25.
Hollie Summers was in fine form with the bat for Martley retiring on 30 after skipper Alex Repton had gone for 14 in an opening stand of 43.
Lousie Mylles then struck 28 off just 18 balls as the Mandarins raced home at 92 for 1 off just 8.4 overs.
