Another busy week saw the Martley Under-11’s traveling to Worcester Nomads.
Batting first Harry Soothill with 19 and James Patrick with 13 top scored but other contributions led them to net total of 285 (200 run start).
Accurate Martley bowling saw Nomads losing wickets on a regular basis.
Joel Beauchamp snapped up 3 for 5 while James Patrick, Harry Soothill, Callum Young, Max Brian and Ben Leschallis all took two each as Martley won by 47 runs.
The Under 12’s took on their Worcester CC counterparts on a lovely Jewry Field evening (pic to prove it!).
Jack Edwards with 31 and James Patrick with 30 both had to retire as Martley racked up 11 for 3 off their 20 overs.
The Worcester openers put on 50 and although Harry Lane and Seb Blackmore picked up a wicket each the visitors reached the target in the 17th over to win by 8 wickets.
